First Official Portraits

Mommy took me to have my first official portraits done on July 11, and they just came in today. We only wanted one, but the lady made us do tons of poses so she could try and sell us more. It worked. Nanny and Gran get your orders in now because mommy now has more pictures of me than she knows what to do with! Daddy said we could wallpaper his whole office with them!

These are the ones we didn't choose, but the nice man running the photo shop today said he'd give them to us for $5 - when daddy said he didn't have cash, the man just gave them to us! Mommy said something about it being shady, but of course it was because we were inside!

A Day in the Life of Finley Martin

So I totally stole this idea from a friend, but it was too cute not to copy. And little did we know how interesting a day it would be!
 
Good Morning! Mommy feeds me breakfast...
 
I play with my Dinosaur and Roll-a-Rounds balls while mommy takes a tub...
 
Hmmm...what should I wear today??
 
That was all too tiring, I need a nap... 

And Then...

 
I had some yogurt for lunch - mmm, raspberries and peaches.
 
Finally dressed and ready to go out with mom.
 
We met mommy's friend Katie for lunch like we do every Friday. I really like her. 
And this is right after I intentionally slammed my head into the table. The service was slow. 

And Then...

James came over and we went to the pool for a swim!
 
Two concerts in one week!??! Mom took me to see the Fantastic Diamond - a Neil Diamond Tribute Band.
 
I still don't know why we're here, but they have some pretty cool balloons. 

And Then...

 
Mom drove us home in a different car. There's lots of room and mom told me that James, Maya AND their mommies can fit in the car. I told her I expect a baby beach trip soon.
 
Who do I have to call around here to get a bath?
 Ahh, much better.
